The great room with its hardwood floors has fantastic water views in three directions from the bay window. And there's room for everyone to sit comfortably - from the leather sofa and three comfortable chairs to the built in sofa under the bay window. There's even a desk and chair located under the genuine porthole, and also a two story, cozy fireplace. In addition, the new plasma TV will add to your enjoyment. The loft, above the great room, is just a most special place. From its private deck, you can see Assateague in the distance. It continues the nautical theme with its built-in queen and built-in twin bed.
The brand new galley kitchen with its sea green private collection Corian picks up the color of the water through the floor to ceiling window at the end. It has 'pass-throughs' to both the dining room and the screened in porch. The unique dining room resembles the wheelhouse on a ship with windows on 3 sides. There's room for everyone to sit around the large table in our custom-made, very comfortable captains and mates chairs.
The screened-in porch is even screened in underneath the decking for your comfort. From spring, summer, to fall, you'll find that the porch becomes the gathering place to relax, watch the boating, the crabbing activities on the boat dock, or to just reach into the kitchen through the special 'pass-through' to grab another cup of coffee. The master bedroom has its own wrap-around private deck, a king size bed, and its own private, large vanity with sink. The laundry room is conveniently located on the lowest level and so you can easily grab the boogie board, beach blanket, chairs, and kites when you're going off to Assateague's pristine beaches.
We're always looking for ways to make things nicer for our guests. We've added three wall attached hair-dryers; AC filters are regularly changed; we're always replacing bedding - as this is written, there's seashore appropriate Croscill, Laura Ashley, Tommy Hilfiger etc. with pillows and shams. We provided two sets of dishes and 18/8 Oneida flatware and plenty of glasses so you won't have to do the dishes between each meal. And some of the things such as ceiling fans, resulted from the wonderful feedback in notes and emails our guests sent us after vacationing in Spinnaker.
